Structure and organization
The Western Region Aquaculture Center’s Board of Directors make policy, management, and project priority funding and assistance decisions for new and ongoing aquaculture research and extension activities. Board members review and approve project proposals, award funds, and review annual work plans, multi-year project reports and accomplishment reports.
The fifteen voting member Board of Directors is represented by the 12 participating universities from all WRAC states (under the Memorandum of Understanding), the Industry Advisory Council (IAC), Directors of Western Cooperative Extension, and Directors of Western Experiment Stations. The Board is additionally advised by the Industry Advisory Council (IC) and Technical Committee (TC) and three non-voting board members representing Washington State University, the Research Subcommittee, and the Extension Subcommittee.
